Alumni Updates as of Summer 2021!

Layla El-Khoury’s new piece The Facade was selected and performed for Regional Dance America/Southeast Emerging Choreographers Performance, May 2021.

Kathleen Black was promoted to Soloist and Ashley Hathaway was promoted to Prinicpal at Carolina Ballet.

ChrissyAnn Carpenter joined the Digital Dance Project and Neville Dance Theatre.

Emily Horowitz graduated from Butler University with a BA in Dance Pedagogy and BS in Psychology in May 2021.

 

Congratulations to our 2021 graduates:
Megan Duerr graduated from Wakefiled High School and will be attending Auburn University.
Caitlin Fountain graduated from Broughton High School and is attending Wake Forest University on an academic scholarship.
McKay Lucas graduated from Cary Academy and will be attending Vanderbilt University.
Olivia Munn will be attending Louisville Ballet this summer and was offered a trainee position for next season.
Joy Winton graduated from Athens Drive High School and will be attending UNC Wilmington in the Honors College.
