Raleigh Dance Theatre’s
Season: 2026-2027
Audition Details:
Auditions for the 2026-2027 season will take place at
The Raleigh School of Ballet, 3921 Beryl Rd. Raleigh, NC.
Main Company Audition
- Date & Time: Tuesday, May 26 4:30-6:00pm (request a spot in the audition by emailing info@raleighdance.org)
- Training Requirement: Students have completed RSB Level D/L1 or above
- Age Requirement for non-RSB students: Must be 12 years old by October 1, 2026
- Pointe Requirement: For those dancing on pointe, at least 1 full year of training on pointe is required.
Junior Company Audition
- Date & Time: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 7:00-8:00pm (request a place in the audition by emailing info@raleighdance.org )
- Training Requirement: Students have completed B1-C2
- Age Requirement for non-RSB students: Students must be 8 years old by October 1, 2026
Stay up-to-date with important announcements, rehearsal schedules, and performance details. The Virtual Bulletin Board is a private space exclusively for dancers performing with Raleigh Dance Theatre.
Dress Requirements:
- Non-shiny pink tights, or tights that match the dancer’s skin tone, or black/gray tights for boys
- Plain, solid color leotard or white t-shirt for boys
- Ballet shoes and pointe shoes (if applicable) to match tights
- Dance belt, Matching socks and ballet shoes for boys
- Hair neatly arranged off the face and neck (in a bun, ponytail, or suitable style for short hair)
- No jewelry or watches (except for non-dangling earrings)
Children’s Auditions
- Open auditions will be held for Young children ages 6-12 registered in Raleigh School of Ballet levels A1-B1. Audition information will be announced in August.
