Raleigh Dance Theatre’s


Season: 2025-2026

Audition Details:
Auditions for the 2025-2026 season will take place at
The Raleigh School of Ballet, 3921 Beryl Rd. Raleigh, NC.

Main Company Audition

  • Date & Time: TBD
  • Age Requirement: Students must be 12 years old by October 1, 2025
  • Pointe Requirement: For those dancing on pointe, at least 1 full year of training on pointe is required.

Junior Company Audition

  • Date & Time: TBD
  • Age Requirement: Students must be 8 years old by October 1, 2025
  • Training Requirement: Completion of Raleigh School of Ballet B1 level or equivalent by October 1, 2025.

Stay up-to-date with important announcements, rehearsal schedules, and performance details. The Virtual Bulletin Board is a private space exclusively for dancers performing with Raleigh Dance Theatre.

VIRTUAL BULLETIN BOARD

Dress Requirements:

  • Non-shiny pink tights, or tights that match the dancer’s skin tone, or black/gray tights
  • Plain, solid color leotard or white t-shirt
  • Ballet shoes and pointe shoes (if applicable) to match tights
  • Dance belt (if applicable)
  • White socks (if applicable)
  • Hair neatly arranged off the face and neck (in a bun, ponytail, or suitable style for short hair)
  • No jewelry or watches (except for non-dangling earrings)

Children’s Auditions

  • Young children who are students of The Raleigh School of Ballet may audition for additional roles in productions. Auditions will be announced to Raleigh School of Ballet students as roles are available.
